I am a qualified British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) teacher. I teach Hatha Yoga, which includes posture work (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation. I have been practising Yoga since 2003. In 2012 I completed further training with BWY to become qualified to teach yoga for people living with cancer, and more recently I have attended training for teaching Yoga Nidra. I am deeply honoured to be a Yoga teacher and enjoy sharing the benefits and healing Yoga offers with my students.
Yoga is teaching me that the connection between body and mind is an intricate and subtle one. I believe Yoga is a profoundly healing practice.
As well as a gentle weekly Hatha Yoga class, I offer one to one chair-based yoga for people affected by illness, and a monthly "Breathe, Relax & Meditate" class. See the "Classes" page for details.
